| Eligibililty Requirements
CM Scholarship Fund eligibility requirements for degree seeking students attending a U.S based accredited four year institutions. Each year CM Scholarship awards a scholarship to area students that exhibit proven leadership skills, community involvement and financial need.
To be eligible to recieve a CM Scholarship award covering tuition, fees and books.
1. A student who has been accepted to an accredited U.S institution and who is seeking a CM Scholarship as a freshman and meets the residency requirements. If he or she would have met the requirements to be classified as a legal residents of Maryland. The student may have graduated from an out of state high school. For example, the dependent child of military personnel who are legal residence of Maryland but stationed elsewhere.
2. A student must be a U.S citizen or Permanent Resident Alien who meets the definition of an eligible non citizen under federal Title 1V requirements.
3. A student who is a CM Scholarship recipient seeking a degree during his or her freshman year but failed to earn a 3.0 cumulative grade average at the end of the term he or she is not eligible. A student seeking award must have a combined SAT score of 1200 or greater
4. CM Scholarship has the right to refuse awards to transfer students, transient students, distance learning and international students. This program is specifically designed for freshman students who are accepted into a U.S based post secondary education instituition.
5. A student who is a CM Scholarship recipient must display financial need to qualify for an award.
